Welcome to the Desert Warriors BSF Marathon 2025, taking place in the majestic city of Jaisalmer — the golden fortress of Rajasthan , where every grain of sand and courage whispers through the winds that sweep across its timeless dunes. In this first edition, runners will take on distances of Half Marathon, 10K, and 5K, pushing their limits across a landscape that mirrors both beauty and resilience.

In Jaisalmer, every sunrise paints a story of endurance — from the proud ramparts of Sonar Quila to the endless expanse of the Thar Desert. The BSF Desert Warriors Marathon carries that same spirit — fierce, fearless, and full of heart. This isn’t just a race; it’s a tribute to the guardians of our borders and to every Indian who believes in testing their mettle where it truly counts. Application Guidelines

Please review all information before submitting online application. Registration is subject to confirmation criteria and entry rules.
One applicant can apply for only one race category (21K, 10K, or 5K). Multiple applications will void all entries.
Use single email address for application. Confirmation will be sent within 15 working days.
Entry fees will be refunded (minus processing fees) if application is rejected.
Registration available only through online registration link.
Incorrect information will result in disqualification without refund.
BIB number exchanges are strictly prohibited and will result in disqualification.

Bib Collection

Collection at expo one day before event. Location will be communicated.

Refund Policy

No refunds under any circumstances after registration

PRIZE MONEY RULES

Race results announced on race day will be 'provisional'. Final results and entitlement to prize money shall be subject to rules and regulations.
The entitlement to finish positions and prize money winnings are also subject to–
- Bib tag timing captured across all timing points on the course, including at the start and finish mats, and/or
- Physical verification by technical officials and/or anti-cheat cameras.
Runners found to have interchanged their running number bib and/or bib tag with others will be disqualified from the competition. Such runners shall not be entitled to any timing or prize money.
Prize winners declared may be required to submit further proof of identity/age, as may be required by the Event Promoter, for disbursement of prize money, failing which the Promoter may, at its sole discretion, withhold disbursement or disqualify the said participant from competition.
Prize Money is subject to applicable Indian Income Tax Rules, and the same would be borne by the winner.

Additional Prize Money Rules

Eligibility: Prize money is exclusively open to only Indian citizens/nationals who hold a valid Indian government-issued ID. Foreign nationals are welcome to participate in the event; however, they will not be eligible for any prize money.
Ranking & Results: All rankings and results are subject to ratification by the Race Officials. The organizers' decision regarding finisher rankings and prize distribution shall be final and binding on all participants and will not be subject to any appeal.
Minimum Participation for Age-Category Prizes: For prize money to be awarded in any age category, there must be a minimum of 11 registered participants in that specific category. If an age category has fewer than 11 registrants, ONLY 1 prize will be awarded.
Prize Limitation: ONE PARTICIPANT IS ONLY ELIGIBLE FOR 1 PRIZE as per the eligibility criteria.
Rule Modifications: All rules are subject to change at the sole discretion of Peak Dynamic Sports Private Limited. Any decision made by Peak Dynamic Sports Private Limited regarding event rules, prize claims, or disputes will be considered final.

Baggage Drop & Pick-Up

Only one bag per participant is permitted.
Prohibited Items: Jewellery, cameras, mobile phones, cash, original photo ID proofs, credit/debit cards, and electronic gadgets.
The organisers will not be responsible for any loss or damage of items kept at the baggage counter.
Participants are strongly advised to avoid bringing baggage. If unavoidable, please ensure that no valuables are placed in the bag, as the baggage counter will not be liable for any losses.

About Lihas Trivedi

A prominent figure in India's long-distance running scene, Lihas Trivedi is the Founder and President of Amdavad Distance Runners (ADR). He has significantly contributed to the development of marathon culture in Ahmedabad, notably launching the city's first marathon in 2010 and serving as Technical Associate and Race Director for the Sabarmati Marathon, where he manages route planning and race execution.
